RONKS, Pa. — Among other attractions, the Lancaster County Holstein Association picnic on July 11 will feature a fun auction.

Hosted by Amos L. Lapp and his family, the field day will start at 10 a.m. and include a free meal. The Lapp family’s farm is located at 2522 Meadowland Drive, Ronks. 

Donated items for the fun auction include:

1. Gallon of Udder Comfort, donated by Udder Comfort (Sherry Bunting)

2. Children’s dirt digger (from Weaver’s Manufacturing), donated by Galen Martin

3. Five units of sexed semen from Siemers DB Hoa P (Dropbox x EX-91 Luster P), donated by Kevin Robbins – Next Gen Genetics

4. One gallon of Super Spray, Jesse Riehl

5. Fifteen head hoof trimmed, DLM Hoof Care

6. Five units conventional semen of Kings Ransom Cure (Dropbox x EX-91 Hanan’s), donated by Josh Martin

7. Baseball Card Package Plus – nearly 1500 Donruss Cards (around 1990’s), donated by Richard Mellinger

8. Lock Ease hitch pin, Walter Zimmerman

9. Ten units (your choice – conventional semen) of any bull from my Young Sire Sheet.  Donated by Richard N. Mellinger

10. 100th year anniversary Pennsylvania Holstein Association history book, donated by PHA

11. Carnation Complete Dispersal Sale Catalog from 2004, donated by Dieter Krieg
