Pennsylvania Fall Championship Show

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Burdette Family of Windy-Knoll-View Farm in Franklin County and the McWilliams Family of Somerset County were the powerhouse exhibitors of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association’s Fall Championship Show. Held here at the Farm Show Complex on September 16-17, the competition featured 170 entries. Phillip Topp of Ohio was the official judge, with Jason Zimmerman of New York serving as his associate. Champions and banners were presented as follows:

  • Junior champion: Ocean-View Silver Diva, Alphie Stoltzfus
  • Reserve junior champion: Appalachian An Amaretto-ET, Hayden Weaver
  • HM junior champion: Plum-Line Doorman Eva, Brooke Carey
  • Best bred and owned of heifer show: Plum-Line Doorman Eva, Brooke Carey
  • Premier Breeder and Exhibitor heifer show: Windy-Knoll-View
  • Intermediate champion: Petitclerc Bullseye Abelia, Alphie Stoltzfus
  • Reserve intermediate champion: Harvue Hancock Fan, Russ-Jan Holsteins
  • HM intermediate champion: Pure-Spring Hanans Classy, Brandon and Andrea Grumbine
  • Senior champion: Sweet-Peas Moovin Aruba, Madison and Tyler Soden.
  • Reserve senior champion: McWilliams Goldchip Faster, Sam McWilliams
  • Grand champion: Petitclerc Bullseye Abelia, Alphie Stoltzfus

The best three heifers of the show are were presented by Mike and Alphie Stoltzfus, owners of the junior champion with Chad Ryan on halter; Eddie Sekarak is on the halter for Hayden Weaver’s reserve junior champion while Brooke Carey received honorable mention. Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess Morgan Larson presented prizes.
