HARRISBURG, Pa. – Dairy producers who are interested in exploring organic dairy opportunities, and existing producers who would like to learn more about the services available in the organic dairy space, are encouraged to attend the Organic Dairy Lunch & Learn Event at the Keystone Farm Show in York on Wednesday, January 7 from 1-3 p.m.
Attendees must pre-register for the free event by January 2. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for two people from each farm.
People in attendance will learn about the process of transitioning to organic, the benefits and challenges, and the differences in production practices. There will be opportunities to network with other organic dairy producers and speak one-on-one with organic processors and service providers. The event is hosted by the Pennsylvania Agricultural Business Development Center, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and Center for Dairy Excellence.

The event will take place in the Utz Arena (Building 1) in Seminar Room No. 1 at the Keystone Farm Show, York Fairgrounds, 334 Carlisle Avenue, York.
