HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance’s annual winter soil health meetings will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in Latrobe and Thursday, Jan. 29 in New Holland. The Tuesday event is free to members and $40 for non-members; while the Thursday meeting is free to members and $25 to non-members. Registration is requested and can be done by contacting Jay Howes at jhowes@pennag.com.
Both meetings start at 8 a.m. Venues are:
• Latrobe: Fred Rogers Conference Center, 300 Fraser Purchase Road;
• New Holland: Yoder’s Restaurant, 14 South Tower Road.
Adam Daugherty, who has spent over 23 years working for USDA-NRCS, will be the guest speaker. He worked closely with producers to implement the use of high biomass cover crop mixes across thousands of acres of corn and soybean rotations.
He has been a popular speaker at several national no-till events and appeared in numerous popular videos and podcasts. Since October 2025 he has served as operations manager and crop consultant for the Manchester, Tennessee, Nutrien Ag Solutions location.
