Introducing the panelists:
• Oakfield Corners Dairy is a division of Lamb Farms, Inc., based in Oakfield, N.Y. Jonathan and Alicia Lamb manage the overall direction of the genetics program. Adam Dresser leads the index side and Jamie Black manages the show operation. At Oakfield Corners Dairy, they focus on working with some of the best cows and cow families in the Holstein breed, with a goal to breed cattle that are desirable to other farms and breeders in the marketplace.
They have a large-scale ET/IVF program, producing and implanting about 8500 embryos per year internally. Around 94% of the program is focused on index (GTPI, NM, Polled, Red/RC), with about 5% on the show program, and the remainder on specialty beef.
The focus of their index program is to create cattle with numbers that are competitive at the highest levels while continuing to develop and focus on deep pedigrees/cow families. They actively market bulls to multiple AI companies and continue to navigate opportunities for marketing and diversification of the index program.
The show type program focus is on marketability of female calves through public and private sales. They continuously search out new and different cow families that perform well in the show ring to diversify their sale offerings and generate excitement for the program. They sell their best in their Spring Sensation Sale series, with the next sale to occur on March 6, 2026.
Highlights of their program include breeding the current #1 GTPI female of the breed, OCD Ripcord R2D2 (3628GTPI) and #2 TPI bull 7HO16276 Sheepster (3458GTPI) as of October, 2025. They are also proud to own the reigning grand champion of the International Holstein Show at World Dairy Expo, Lovhill Sidekick KandyCane (EX-96-2E).
• Peter Dueppengiesser of Ransom-Rail Holsteins was born and raised on a dairy and has spent his entire life in the dairy industry. He owned and operated a 1200-cow dairy and 2100-acre crop farm, along with his brother Mike, for 35 years near Perry, N.Y. Under the Ransom-Rail prefix, Pete and his family showed cattle on the local, state, national and international level. They have marketed their genetics around the world and have been blessed by creating many excellent partnerships that have allowed them to continue to remain very active in showing and marketing cattle.
In 2019, Pete accepted a position with ST Genetics as a large herd specialist working directly with dairies in Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. His mission is to develop genetic strategies that positively impact profitability. In 2021 he became the Central U.S. sales manager, and upon returning to N.Y., is currently the Eastern U.S. sales manager for the dairy team at ST Genetics. In this role, he and his team provide a complete range of genetic resources and support services to dairy producers throughout the Eastern U.S.
Pete is very committed to the dairy industry, with involvement in a variety of organizations. He served two terms on the Holstein Association USA Board of Directors, was a past chairman of the Northeast Dairy Producers Association, was past president of both the Wyoming County New York Farm Bureau and Holstein Club and served on the Cornell University Pro-Dairy Advisory Committee. He is also a LEAD NY graduate.

• Betsy Bullard and her husband, Bill, joined Brigeen Farms in 2000, a family dairy in existence since 1777. Commonly milking over 500 Registered Holsteins, they breed for high producing, long-lived cows with eye appeal. The current herd BAA is 108.4, which ranks in the Top 10 for herd size over 250 cows.
Brigeen Farms has been recognized with Holstein USA Progressive Breeders Registry and Progressive Genetics awards. Over the past 25 years, the farm evolved from 60 to 500 cows and transitioned to Betsy and Bill’s ownership. Betsy’s parents, Steve and Mary Briggs, and sister Vivian Briggs play major roles as well. Betsy’s role centers around the breeding program and cow care.
Brigeen’s active IVF/ET and show program also involves Betsy’s daughter, Sydney, who is 19 and a sophomore at Cornell, and son Will, 15, a sophomore in high school. Betsy is active in the New England Holstein Association and is currently serving as a Region 1 director for Holstein Association USA.
Merchandising for Brigeen spans several generations of family, and ranges from local markets for show calves and replacement heifers to hosting periodic on-farm sales showcasing influential cow families like “G” (for Royland Leadman Glory (GMD DOM) and the Roxy’s, alongside other emerging families.
• Moderator Chris Hill will guide the discussion of this panel along with sharing his experiences as an expert marketer himself.
Chris and his wife Jennifer reside in Thurmont, Maryland. They jointly own and operate MD-Hillbrook Sales Service. Chris also manages and assists with approximately 35 sales a year throughout the United States and Canada including the popular March Madness Sale Series which debuted in 1996 and still continues.
In 2017 Chris co-managed his first “virtual” sale, the Music City Celebration. This sale “celebrates” all facets of the registered dairy cattle business and engages people in a fun location. His true passion is auctioneering which has allowed him to work with many people in the industry from herd dispersals to elite consignment sales, always with the same goal of getting the maximum dollar for sellers.
Chris and Jennifer maintain a small inventory of elite show cattle and have bred/owned 50+ All American nominations over the last 10 years. In addition to being a world-class auctioneer, he is equally accomplished as a judge of dairy cattle. He has served as an official judge for five different breed shows at World Dairy Expo, judged internationally in South America, judged at the All-American Dairy Show six times, and served on the All-American judges panel for all seven breeds. Before all this, Chris made his mark as a phenomenal fitter which led to him being awarded the coveted Klussendorf-MacKenzie trophy at the World Dairy Expo in 2002.
