CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Mid-Atlantic Brown Swiss Show, hosted by the Maryland Brown Swiss Association, will be held on July 17-18 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds, 3725 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, Pa. The show is open to exhibitors from all states.

All entries must be made online at https://showman.app/shows#/mid-atlantic-brown-swiss-show-521e/. Entry fees are $25 per head. Entries open June 23 and close July 14 at 11:59 p.m. EST.  No entries will be accepted after that date.

In addition to the new date and location, the Show Committee and youth advisors have been working on a few other changes this year. Please note the time and date change for showmanship. The schedule of events is as follows:

•Thursday, July 16: 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Maryland Brown Swiss youth meeting, election of officers, upcoming events discussion, youth activities, door prizes and ice cream.

• Friday, July 17: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. topline and show prep demonstration with Katie Schultz.

3 p.m. — Showmanship classes. Judge:  Jason Heeter, Shady Gap, Pa.

6 p.m. — BBQ (in pavilion) followed by fun auction at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 18: Mid-Atlantic Brown Swiss Show, judged by Darin Hill of Cattaraugus, N.Y.         

• 9 a.m.: Heifer classes                                        

• Noon: (tentative) – Cow classes and group classes

Cybil Fisher will be on site show day to take pictures.

New for 2026 show: Additional cash premiums for 1st – 3rd places in both open and youth shows.
