Kyra Lamb has supreme cow, Landree Fraley bred-owned, Gavin Bewley top heifer

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Kyra Lamb, 11, of Oakfield, N.Y. led her Jersey grand champion aged cow Kevetta Colton Delilah to Supreme honors at the Premier National Junior Show on Monday, Sept. 14. The competition was held during All-American Dairy Show week at the Farm Show Complex.
Delilah’s breeding goes back to fifth-dam Veronica, charting a trail of banners from grand champion of the International Jersey Junior Show at World Dairy Expo last October and grand and supreme of the North American International Livestock Expo last November, to grand junior and open at the New York Spring Show in March – all on the same lactation.
Noting she has been milking well over a year, PNJS Jersey Show Judge Nate Oleniacz praised Delilah’s mammary system when selecting her earlier in the day for senior and grand champion, observing the balance and symmetry to the floor of her mammary system, bloom of fore and rear udder, and correctness of teat placement.
Kyra and her brother Griffin, 10, own Delilah and between them, they showed two Jerseys, and a Holstein and Red & White calf during the PNJS. Their parents Jonathan and Alicia Lamb, along with cousins, aunts, uncles and the Oakfield Corners team brought a total string of 26 cattle, mainly Holsteins and Red & Whites to the All-American this year, likely a record large string for the show, or close to it.
Earning the Supreme Bred-and-Owned prize was Landree Fraley, 21, of Muncy, Pennsylvania with her Guernsey grand champion Twin County Tina Turner. The 3-year-old goes back three generations of home breeding and was previously grand champion of the Junior show and honorable mention in open competition at the 2026 Guernsey Gold Showcase.
Among the top heifers in each breed, Gavin Bewley of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania earned Supreme with his junior champion Jersey, Budjon-Vail Video TSwift-ET.
Vying for the honor were junior champion Ayrshire fall calf Lincolnshire Montana, exhibited by Joshua Place of Canisteo, N.Y.; Brown Swiss fall calf Blessing Garbro WC Vida ETV, shown by Cooper Merrill of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; Guernsey fall calf Gladheart Regal Hills Pexi-ETV, exhibited by Eva Dehoff and Landen Copenhaver of Lebanon, Pa.; Holstein fall yearling Appalachian An Amaretto-ET, also shown by Copenhaver; Milking Shorthorn winter calf Lazy M JK Lars Luau ET, shown by Landon Neely of Utica, Pa.; and Red & White winter calf Cabaret Hvzda Mistletoe-Red, exhibited by Jillian Anderson of Centre Hall, Pa.
