    PHA’s Spring Show was competitive, boasting 167 entries

    The Pennsylvania Holstein Association’s annual Spring Show was held here at the Juniata Fairgrounds on April 25th with Judge: Brian Carscadden of Ontario, Canada, officiating. In all 167 entries were paraded through the ring.

    Oakfield Solomon Sunset-ET named ‘Star of the Breed’ by Holstein USA

    The highest honor presented to a Registered Holstein®, the Star of the Breed award recognizes a cow that excels in both type and production. Receiving the 2025 recognition from Holstein Association USA is Oakfield Solomon Sunset-ET (EX-96-2E). She is bred and owned by Jonathan and Alicia Lamb of Oakfield Corners Dairy in New York.

    Maya Bicksler named Berks County Dairy Princess

    Berks County has a new dairy princess: Maya Bicksler. The daughter of Jonathan and Tiffany Bicksler, she started her reign at the conclusion of a pageant that was held on Saturday, May 2 at the Mohrsville Church of the Brethren.
