Show entries are due July 1

QUARRYVILLE, Pa. — The Lancaster County Holstein Association has its annual show and picnic coming up in July. Entries for the show, which will be held on July 16 at the Solanco Fairgrounds, 101 Park Avenue, Quarryville, are due by July 1. Daniel Kitchen will be placing the classes, starting at 9 a.m.

Picnic set for Friday, July 11

The Amos Lapp Family will host the annual picnic at their farm, 2522 Meadowland Drive, Ronks, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Highlights will include:

• A complimentary meal for all attendees

• A youth and adult dairy judging contest, featuring the family’s Lapridge Holsteins.

• A guest speaker sharing insights on the dairy industry

• A showcase of local vendors and agribusiness partners

• A fun auction to benefit the Lancaster County Holstein Association
