HARRISBURG, Pa. — Jayne Sebright has been selected as the recipient of the Dairy Hall of Fame Award, recognizing her service and accomplishments as a leader within the dairy industry. Selection criteria was based on character, leadership, and commitment to youth development within the dairy community.

Sebright is the executive director of the Center for Dairy Excellence, a public–private 501(c)(6) organization that serves Pennsylvania’s dairy industry, and the Dairy Excellence Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that focuses on cultivating the next generation of dairy producers, advocates, and consumers nationwide.

She leads a team of eight individuals who provide programs and resources designed to strengthen and support dairy farms and agribusinesses, while also serving as a catalyst for the broader Pennsylvania dairy industry. Through the Foundation’s initiatives, the team annually reaches more than 2 million students. This includes 43,000 educators enrolled in Adopt A Cow, 34,000 students engaged in Dairy Leaders of Tomorrow, and more than $70,000 awarded annually in scholarships and on-farm internship programs supported by industry partners.

Sebright has been with the Center since 2006 and has served as executive director since 2016. She earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science with highest distinction from Penn State in 1995. Prior to joining the Center, she held professional roles with Land O’Lakes, Lancaster Farming, and the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association, now part of the American Dairy Association Northeast. She and her husband, Robby, operate a dairy and crop farm near East Berlin, Adams County, Pa. They have three adult children: George (and spouse Brooke), Charlie, and Eddie.

Sebright will receive the Dairy Hall of Fame Award on September 15 at 5:30 p.m. during the Premier National Junior Show Supreme Champion Pageant. The ceremony will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg as part of the All-American Dairy Show.
