ALLENTOWN, Pa.— The Great Allentown Fair, now in its 173rd year, continues its longstanding mission of showcasing agriculture, horticulture, livestock, and the domestic and mechanical arts. Competitors vie for placement ribbons and cash prizes across more than 50 livestock categories, celebrating excellence in farming and animal husbandry.
The Fair featured over 800 livestock entries, including dairy and beef cattle and goats. Winners were:
- Dairy supreme champion cow: A Brown Swiss shown by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville, Pa.
- Champion market beef: A crossbred animal shown by Faith Smith, New Tripoli, Pa.
- Champion beef bull: An Angus exhibited by Jamie Brozman, Nazareth, Pa.
- Champion beef cow: An Angus shown by Ethan Brozman, Nazareth, Pa.
- Champion dairy beef: A Holstein exhibited by Allis Ruth of Alburtis, Pa.
- Best dairy goat doe: A Toggenburg shown by Hailey Esposito of Oxford, Pa.
