Giant cows, bigger purpose: Mattilio family gives new life to former icons
Two towering Holstein cows, now standing in a pasture in southern Lancaster County, once roamed highways, fairgrounds and city streets as ambassadors for one of Pennsylvania’s best-known dairy brands. Each cow weighs two tons and reaches 13½ feet high placed on its own 20-foot-long custom low-slung trailer.

Serving whole milk in school again is cause for celebration
After years of waiting, students in the Williamsburg Community School District were served whole milk for the first time on Feb. 17, 2026. School nurse Christine Ebersole shared a photo from the day, calling it “a good day at Williamsburg School District.”
