CENTRE HALL, Pa. — The Pease family, owners of Sweet-Peas Holsteins in Susquehanna County, dominated the Pennsylvania Holstein Association’s annual Spring Show, winning no fewer than five banners.

Held here at the Grange Fairgrounds on April 26th, the event showcased some of the state’s finest Registered Holsteins. A total of 200 calves, heifers and cows went through the ring with Austin Schwartzbeck placing the classes in both open and Junior divisions. Highlights follow.

Grand champion and intermediate champion: MCGK Latenite Danica-Red-ET, the first place junior 3-year old shown by Madison and Tyler Soden, who are part of the powerhouse Sweet-Peas showstring.

Reserve grand champion, senior champion: Garay Red Diamond-Red-ET, the first-place aged cow exhibited by Landree and Dakota Fraley.

Reserve senior champion: Nisly-Gen Rager Donut-Red, the first-place 5-year old shown by Tyler Soden

Honorable mention: Cherry-Lor W Ripples-Red-ET, the first-place Fall senior 2-year old shown by Bethany Eberlin and Phillip McCormick.

Best bred and owned cow: Sweet-Peas Jo Aubrey-Red-ET, first-place senior 3-year old shown by Madison Soden.

Reserve intermediate champion: Sweet-Peas Jo Aubrey-Red-ET, Madison Soden

Honorable mention: Cherry-Lor W Ripples-Red-ET, first-place senior 2-year old owned by Bethany Eberlin and Phillip McCormick.

Junior champion: Gajan Master Rose, the first-place winter yearling shown by Paige Martin.
