HARRISBURG, Pa. –  To showcase the hard work of Pennsylvania dairy farmers during National Dairy Month this June, the Center for Dairy Excellence has several free resources to help dairy producers share their stories with their community.

Indoor and outdoor magnets, rack cards and posters are available at no cost while supplies last. The material includes “Choose PA Dairy” messaging and statistics about dairy’s role in the Pennsylvania economy, and it also features several Pennsylvania dairy farm families.

“The 4850 dairy farm families across the state of Pennsylvania work every day to produce fresh, nutritious products, and it’s important for us to showcase the positive impact that our state’s dairy industry is making,” said Emily Barge, communications and marketing manager at the Center for Dairy Excellence. “Especially during the warm weather and summer months, there are a variety of ways you can connect with your community. These resources are simple ways you can communicate with families in your area and share your story throughout June Dairy Month and beyond.”

The following resources are available while supplies last:

• “Choose PA Dairy” magnet sheets to display somewhere on your farm, in your farm store/business, or on a vehicle. The magnets are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

• Posters and rack cards with “Choose PA Dairy” messages, highlights from several Pennsylvania dairy farm families, and statistics about the Pennsylvania dairy industry.

All material is available at no cost and will be mailed beginning June 9th. Limited quantities are available. Call 717-346-0849 or visit www.centerfordairyexcellence.org/june-dairy-month to request material.
